Pet Chip Update Campaign
As an organisation which implants pet identification MicroChips, you have a lot of contact with pet owners who have either had their pet MicroChipped or who might be considering.
As one of the longest established providers of pet MicroChips, AVID has taken the initiative with a new campaign to encourage pet owners to keep their details up to date with the MicroChip Database.
AVID provides a 24hr database, PETtrac, to reunite lost pets with their owners, but if contact details are out of date this can sometimes be a difficult or impossible task.

Free Marketing Materials
AVID provides marketing materials (leaflets and posters) FREE to all customers implanting the AVID MicroChips. These can be prominently displayed in the practice, kennels or within mailings to clients to promote the AVID MicroChip product, and that you
offer MicroChip implantation as a service.
Don't forget to scan!
It is important to scan every animal which enters your veterinary practice, kennels, cattery or rescue centre! This is an important part of the reunification process and offers the following benefits :
- Checks to ensure that everything is functioning correctly with the MicroChip
- Stray/stolen pets are highlighted so that they can be reunited with their owners
- If a pet is not MicroChipped then it highlights that you offer MicroChipping as a service
